Pro Football Hall of Famers Joe Thomas and Jared Allen know a thing or two about hard work, grit and determination. They also know how to enjoy the rewards when the day is done.

When Jared came out to Wisconsin to spend the day with Joe at Hall of Fame Farms, there wasn’t much of an agenda. Put Jared to work. Show him around the farm. Rope some calves. Eat some incredible Wagyu. Pour a little bourbon. See where the day leads.

Eventually, the work gave way to what might have been the best part of the day: great food, a bottle of Full Ryde, a fire and two football legends with plenty of stories to tell.

Jared's Day on the farm

Before earning his gold jacket, Jared Allen was a ranch kid from Idaho who grew up around horses, livestock, and agriculture. So it was no surprise that he jumped right into help lasso and ear tag our new calves from the back of an ATV with Joe driving.
